TELETHERAPY

Whether you choose it for safety or personal preference, expect the same results.

What is teletherapy?

Teletherapy is the online delivery of mental health therapy services using high resolution, HIPAA compliant, live video conferencing.  Teletherapy, also known as virtual therapy, e-therapy and online therapy, is delivered through an online platform on your computer, smart phone or tablet.  Currently, FCCG uses Go To Meeting, Clocktree and Therapy Notes video chat as video conferencing programs.

What can I expect in a teletherapy session?

Teletherapy sessions work the same way face-to-face therapy sessions work.  Each session is 50-60 minutes and can be done from the comfort and safety of your own home.  All you need is a reliable internet connection, a connecting device (computer, tablet or smart phone), and a quiet comfortable place to connect with your therapist.

Will my insurance cover it?

Most insurance plans cover teletherapy sessions just as they would an in-office session. Teletherapy sessions have been proven to be as effective and confidential as traditional face-to-face in-office sessions. We recommend that you check with your provider to be sure you're covered.

We are now accepting clients, and would love to see you, even if that means virtually. Your mental health depends on it.
