Meet Serena Robles, LMHC & CMHS...

 

Serena is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Child Mental Health Specialist. She received her Master’s in Counseling from Northwest University, and has worked with youth in school-based services and community mental health.

 

Serena enjoys working with children 8 years and older, families, teens, young adults, and those young at heart. Concerns such as anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, communication, depression, and life transitions are some topics Serena navigates with her clients.

 

Her experience involves working with people of many walks of life including the LGBTQ+ community, various religious and spiritual backgrounds, and diverse cultural populations. In her practice, Serena engages modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based techniques.
 
Serena meets her clients where they are with compassion, empathy for human connection, honesty, and humor. She knows the client is the expert of their own life, and therefore she strives to be a supportive role on their healing journey. By creating a safe atmosphere, Serena holds unconditional regard for individuals as they either begin or continue their path of self-compassion and rewriting their story.

 

Combining skill-based approaches, and a client’s own strengths, Serena invites her clients to feel empowered to reach their goals with the strengths they already possess to go through this human experience called “life”.
