Fred Juhos, LMFT, MHP
Meet Fred Juhos, LMFT, MHP…
Music is a serviceable metaphor for human relations. We navigate our lives at our chosen tempo, seeking our melody, our instrumentation and our special lyrics. We may search for movement and harmony. Dissonance increases tension which seeks resolution that is sometimes hard to find. You may be tired of your song or find it repetitious. Perhaps you’re unable to dance to it the way you used to. You may be tired of your ensemble or distracted by other music in the wind.
My name is Fred Juhos. I have been a musician and a video editor/producer in the tech sector. Married for over 30 years, I have sometimes stayed at home with the kids while my wife’s career surged in commitment and returns. For twelve years, I worked in the service sector as a piano technician in homes, churches, schools and auditoriums.
Following stints in aviation and the winery business. I received my master’s degree from Antioch University, Seattle in Marriage and Family Therapy. Most recently, I was a counselor at Compass Health in their Child and Family setting serving the community of Everett. There, I worked primarily with families, and young people to increase function and foster meaningful change toward their chosen goals.
Family Life Cycle and Family Systems Theory inform my practice with specific training in Existential, Solution Focused, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have completed Gottman Level Two Training.
I look forward to working with you to identify discord and help you make the music that reflects the life you want.
