Meet Aaron Abrams, LMFTA...

Aaron is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who also obtains a Master of Science degree from Seattle Pacific University. During his post-graduate work, Aaron has worked with families and children in school-based and community-based systems. He has additional experience with couples, individual children, and individual adults in clinical settings.

Throughout his life and experience, Aaron has always been passionate about working with couples, families, teenagers, and individual adults. He strives to help the client create goals, work on the goals through a diversity of interventions, as well as achieve those goals by the end of the client’s therapy experience. Aaron works with individuals who are having difficulties in self-esteem, self-efficacy, interpersonal communication, grief, anxiety, depression, and anger management.

His experience has led him to create a fun, yet challenging environment in the therapy room, where he incorporates experiential methodology and has the client use creative ways to produce alternative perspectives, coping mechanisms, and potential outcomes. Aaron will use these interventions with his knowledge of Satir Experiential Therapy, but will also use modalities of Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and some Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  

Aaron is very client-centered and strives to meet the client where they are at. In the therapy room, Aaron will meet you with warmth, compassion and honesty while also adding some sarcasm and humor. Know that you are welcomed, cared for, and heard when you are working with Aaron, and he will do his very best to help you in any way that he can.
